Show DR. MACFARLANE TALKSTO ROTARY Musical Program at Luncheon Furnished by Dixie College Col-lege Students. Dr. M. J. Macfarlane of the Cedar Ce-dar City Rotary club was a guest of the local cfub at the luncheon Friday noon at the Liberty hotel dining room. A musical program was furnished furnish-ed by Howard Cannon, Lenzi Sullivan Sul-livan and LeGene Morris, under the direction of Prof. Jos. Wm. McAllister. Three numbers were given which were much enjoyed by the club members. These boys are artists in their line and their offerings were encored repeatedly. re-peatedly. Dr. Macfarlane, representing the Cedar club, was called on and explained ex-plained in detail many features of Rotary. He stressed in particular the function and importance of the various committees, and the Importance of perfect attendance of members at the regular weekly ' luncheons. Starting with the aims and objects ob-jects committee, the most important impor-tant one on the list, Dr. Macfarlane Macfar-lane went through the committees, and explained to the members just what part each played in the program of the club. His talk was instructive and interesting and gave those assembled a better bet-ter insight into Rotary and what j it means to the community. |
