Show LEGISLATURE KILL VISIT ST. GEORGE State Solons Will Spend Two Days in Southern Utah; Will Be Entertained Here Next Saturday Afternoon Members of the Utah state legislature leg-islature will be in St. George Saturday Sat-urday afternoon and an entertainment entertain-ment and luncheon will be given in their honor that evening at the Liberty hotel dining room. The bringing of the legislators here was accomplished through the efforts ef-forts of the chamber of commerce, ?.r.d in a telephone conversation with Representative David Hirschi last night, he stated that there will be about seventy in the party. They will arrive in Cedar City early Friday morning for an inspection in-spection of the Branch agricultural agricul-tural college. Friday afternoon they will visit the B. A. C. farm, and iron and coal mines in the vicinity of Cedar City. Friday night they ; will be the guests of the B. A. C. , at the basketball game with Dixie. Saturday morning they will be taken to Zion parR where they will be shown the new Zion-Mt. Carmel tunnel and other sights. A luncheon will be served In Zion Saturday noon. Immediately following the luncheon lun-cheon they will come to St. George to spend the afternoon, and following the luncheon here they will be taken to Cedar Sity in time to take their special train which leaves there about 8:30 for Salt Lake. Directors of the chamber of commerce and Rotary club are meeting this afternoon to work out details of the local program. |
