Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Harmon. John Harmon and two children' were town visitors Sunday an j Monday. A family gathering in i their honor was held at the homei of Bishop and Mrs. J. A. Terry Sunday evening. There were thirty people present. Among those present were three sisters. Mary Ann Terry Huntsman, 84, Lydia Terry Winsor, 78, and Al-lie Al-lie Terry Harmon, 74. The sisters sis-ters had not met to enjoy each others associations for many years. A very pleasant evening was spent discussing family history, his-tory, -old times, joking, etc. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harter and family have moved to Fallon to make their home. They were accompanied by Dorothy Hafen. Mrs. H. M. Holt and children spent several days of the past week visiting with her father, Lamond Woods, in Barclay, Nevada. Ne-vada. L .C. Wilkinshaw, son, Paul, and Mrs. Myrtle S'hupe visited here Tuesday. They were en-route en-route home to Greensburg Pennsylvania Penn-sylvania from Los Angeles. L. W. Huntsman returned from Los Angeles with them. Jonathan Hunt had the misfortune mis-fortune to break his shoulder bone. He went for wood and was thrown from his wagon onto a large boulder. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Averett and family, of Cedar City, spent Sunday and Monday here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Rib-inson Rib-inson and daughter, Joyce, spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Adams. Mrs. Mazel Sproul entertained twenty guests at a birthday party Saturday in honor of her daughter, daugh-ter, Romona. Miss Marcella Pectrol is visiting visit-ing relatives in California. Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Wilkins and family have moved to St. George to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Libby, ot Huntington Park, California, are here visiting relatives. They were accompanied here by Mrs. Mary Jolley, Howard Jolley and Ida Jolley, who have been visiting there during the past few weeks. Our 4-H girls of this ward gave their final demonstration ! Sunday and Monday of their sum-i mer work. j Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Murry and children, of Springville, spent Sunday here with relatives. Miss Elva Wilkins, daughter! of Mr. and Mrs. Orman Wilkins., Of Washington, and Frank Ker-1 shaw, of Van Nuys, California were married Tuesday in the St George Temple. The young couple cou-ple will leave for Salt Lake City and Roosevelt, where they will spend a short honeymoon, after which they will return to their home at Van Nuys, California. |
