Show WASHINGTON Lawrence Marker of Cedar City was calling on old friends in town last Saturday. Elijah Iverson, who has been in poor health for some time suffered suf-fered a serious heart attack Sunday Sun-day morning but is better at present. pre-sent. The Kanarra ward presented a play called "The Gypsy Fires'.' on Monday evening. All attending enjoyed the play very much. Mr. and Mrs. ClarK Niseon, Ross Homage, Clyde and Jake Milne were home from Pioche last Friday. The ladies of the Ward Relief society celebrated the society's anniversary on Tuesday, March 11. Several of the stake officers were present. An appropriate program was given and each of the former presidents were presented pre-sented with a gift, as a token of love and respect from members of the society. Refreshments were served and all enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon. The M. I. A. Green and Gold ball will be held Wednesday evening, ev-ening, March 27th. Bill Uiel of Pioche spent the week-end here visiting. Quite a number of our townspeople towns-people attended Stake conference at St. George on Sunday. |
