Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Sylvester C. Jones has returned from Salt Lake City where she spent several days visiting vis-iting with friends and relatives. Some of our town men made a trip to the Enterprise reservoir on Saturday and report our water wa-ter prospects to be good. The new reservoir is full and running over and water is going into the old one in large streams. Elbon Sagers was operated on in Salt Lake City recently for hernia and appendicitis. He is reported to be improving very slowly at present. Cannon Huntsman, of Enterprise, Enter-prise, son of Mr. and Mrs. La-mond La-mond Huntsman and Mamie Grant of New Harmony, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Grant were married in the St. George Temple Wednesday, March 18th. Mrs. Lamond Huntsman went to St. George to witness the ceremony. cere-mony. Mr. Dunkley and Walter Smith held a meeting here Thursday. They are trying to help the people peo-ple help themselves and iget off the relief lists. The Relief Society of this, ward held Its annual celebration on Friday the 15th. The people assembled at the ward hall at 6 p.m. where they enjoyed themselves them-selves until after midnight. A good program consisting of songs, readings, talks, Jokes, and instrumental instru-mental muBic was rendered after which a good substantial lunch was served. Games were played for a while and then old style dancing was enjoyed by the married mar-ried folks after which the time was given over to the young peo- nlp Trip hrmfio wojs fin frrowdpd it was almost impossible to dance but everyone enjoyed themselves and a spirit of good will prevailed throughout the entire evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clare Terry are here from California, where they have lived for several years. They will make 'their home at Terry's ranch for the summer. Mr. Terry's Ter-ry's health was eo poor in California Calif-ornia he has come here to recuperate. |
