Show PIPE VALLEY, ARIZ. Bruce McDaniels, whose condition con-dition had not improved, was taken to California, accompanied by his mother and sister. He is said to be- feeling better there. Margaret Gudger was seriously injured in falling from a bench at school, but is almost recovered recover-ed now. Wayne Thomas left for California Califor-nia on Monday. He is to be employed em-ployed in Los Angeles as a truck driver. Attendance at the Forty-niner ball, Friday evening was, rather less than was expected due to the strong, cold wind which blew all day Friday. But those who did come enjoyed a splendid evening. ev-ening. Before the dance a two-act play was presented by local talent followed by elaborate refreshments. refresh-ments. Roy Wright has returned from Los Angeles with his wife and daughter and little new son, Don Lee. So the Bun Wrights who have been staying on his place during his absence have moved to their own home in the cedars. WWter Marshall and E. R. Edwards Ed-wards returned from Kingman, Sunday evening. Ira Edwards has temporary work so he did not come back with them. Jack Childers is slowly recovering recov-ering from the terrible burns inflicted in-flicted by a gasoline explosion, but he Is still In the hospital at Kingman. His mother and father are with him there. |
