Show BOY DIES UNDER TRAIN AT CALIENTE Linnius Wayne Peterson, 19, son of L. C. Peterson, at present employed by the Utah Copper Company, at the Arthur plant, Magna, Utah, was instantly killed one mile east of Caliente while attempting to board a U. P. freight train. Clifford Jones, who was beating his way from Yermo, Calif., to Magna, Mag-na, in company with Peterson, was not hurt. Peterson fell between cars and the balance of the train passed over his chest, cutting him in half. Inquest was held by Coroner E. C. D. Marriage of Caliente and brought out the fact that the boys had been warned by railroad men not to board the train. |
