Show SPRINGDALE SPRINGDALE, Nov. 11. Armistice day was celebrated here by a program pro-gram given by the school, a feature of which was a speech by our ex-soldier ex-soldier who saw action in Belgium and Prance. A dance under the direction di-rection of the ninth grade closed the day's celebration. Last Saturday night a party was given in honor of the Relief Society presidency who were recently released. re-leased. Each member was presnt-ed presnt-ed with a beautiful leather purse. Quite a number of our people have been suffering with lagrippe. Mrs. Eliza Crawford, son Newel and daughter, Verda, and Ivan, Calvin Cal-vin and Harmon Ruesch have returned re-turned from a visit with relatives in Idaho. Our home missionaries wore Elders El-ders Gubler and Wilson of La Verkin. Ver-kin. Their talks were very much appreciated. ap-preciated. Elder Sivenson of the stake board was a visitor at our Sunday school Sunday morning, j Mrs. Jessie Giflcrd and infant son ' have returned home from Hurricane. Mrs. Adelia Langston has gone to Salt Lake City for a month's visit with her children there. |
