Show FORMER DIXIEITE PASSES IN CALIF. Mrs. Dora Gardner Woodbury, 43r died Thursday, November 7, at Ingle-wood, Ingle-wood, Calif., of heart trouble and resultant re-sultant complications. She was a daughter of Thomas H. and Mary E. Cummings Gardner, and spent her girlhood here attending local schools and later the B. Y. U. at Provo. After graduation from that institution she taught at Virgin and for a number of years at Enterprise. 1 On November 10, 1904, she was married mar-ried to George J. Woodbury and resided re-sided here for a number of years, later moving to Enterprise. There she was very active in church work and was a Primary officer for some time. Several Sev-eral years ago the family moved to Tulare, Calif., and have since resided there. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by an adopted daughter, daugh-ter, Lillian, and the following brothers and sisters: Ada Gardner of Cedar City, Mrs Anna G. Stewart of Ingle-wood, Ingle-wood, Calif., and Wayne and Cummings Cum-mings of St. George. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Los Angeles under the direction of L. D. S. missionaries and interment was in the Valhalla cemetery. |
