Show PECTOL SUFFERS HEAD INJURY 1 James Pectol. received a slight skull concussion Saturday morning morn-ing when a steer he was atempt-ing atempt-ing to drive ran amuck and threw him against a pole. He was assisting W. B. Mathis in driving the animal to the field. A rope was tied to its neck and to the horn of Mathis' saddle, sad-dle, and Pectol was to the rear of the animal. It unexpectedly dashed to one side of the highway, high-way, and as he attempted to turn it, made off in another direction, di-rection, drawing the rope across his chest and throwing him against a pole. He was knocked unconscious, but after treatment is reported to be recovering. |
