Show WOMAN SECURES PRIZE DEER HEAD The head of a deer killed by Mrs. Hazel Lake in the Bull Valley Val-ley district will be mounted by Wm. Atkin, Jr., free of charge. The antlers had a spread of 33 inches and the head had been properly prepared for mounting. Other trophies turned in to Mr. Atkin in the competition were just as good as the one secured by Mrs. Lake, but in no other case was the head properly prepared. In some instances the throat had been cut which put them out of the running. One head had a spread of 3414 inches, one 30, one 29,' and one 27. In all 34 heads were turned in to compete for the prize. |
