Show R. S. LEWIS DIES IN DENVER HOSPITAL Raymond Shepard Lewis, 37, who made his home in St. George the past three years or more, and who left here last October for Denver, died in the Fitzsimons general hospital hos-pital in that city last Thursday, St. George friends have been advised. ad-vised. Death was caused by tuberculosis, tubercu-losis, contracted as the result of being gassed in the world war. The body was brought to Salt Lake where funeral services were held. During the war, Mr. Lewis was a member of the Ninety-first division, di-vision, ,364th infantry. He served in the campaigns of St. Mihiel, the Meuse-Argonne and Ypres-Lys. Ypres-Lys. He was gassed while in Belgium:. |
