Show SANTA CLARA MATRON PASSES Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Mrs. Edw. R. Prei, Jr., Who Died Monday. Funeral services were held at Santa Clara Tuesday under the direction of the ward bishopric for Mrs. Edward R. Frei, Jr., who died Monday afternoon after a long illness. The opening song was -'God Moves in a Mysterious Way", by a double mixed quartet, followed follow-ed by prayer by Milton E. Moody Moo-dy and a duet, "Sweet Hour of Prayer" by Mrs. Gladys Hafen and Airs. Nettie Graff. Speakers -wire Theodore Graff, Jos. K. Nicholes, Harmon Hafen, Ha-fen, W. O. Bentley and Vivian J. Frei, and other musical numbers num-bers were: Solo, "That Wonderful Wonder-ful Mother of Mine", Mrs. Nettie Graff; quartet, "Oh, My Father", Fa-ther", by Enterprise ward; solo, "Face to Face", Mrs. Gladys Hafen, Ha-fen, and a male quatret, "Lead Me Gently Home, Father". The benediction was by George F. Whitehead. Rhoda Barbara Tobler Frei was born January 16, 1899, a daughter of Jacob and Rosena Reber Tobler, and with the exception ex-ception of a few years at Ivins, spent her entire life at Santa Clara. She was married December Decem-ber 6, 1917, to Edward R. Frei, Jr., in the St. George temple. 'During her life she was active in religious and social activities of the town and for several years was an officer in the Primary, and chorister and teacher in the Relief Society. Surviving are. her husband and three small daughters, Rayme, S; Agnes, 4; and Delores, 10 months, and the following brothers bro-thers and sisters: Frank Sha-heli, Sha-heli, Washington; Mrs. Rosina Reber, Santa Clara; Alfred Tobler, To-bler, Mesquite; Edward, Ivins; Mrs. Josephine Graff, Santa Clara; Vernon, Ivins, and Mrs. Lillie Ence, Ivins. |
