Show COUNCIL NAMES CONVENTION COMMITTEES Plans Under Way for Entertainment Enter-tainment and Instruction of Guests here For Two-Day Two-Day Meet in September Officials from practically every ev-ery city in Utah will arrive in St. George the last ofi next months for the annual convention conven-tion of the state municipal league on September 28 and 29. Plans are under way now by the St. George city council for the entertainment en-tertainment of the visitors. The following committees were appointed at the last meeting of the council to preside over the various activities: Recreation and entertainment W. B. Mathis, Jos. W. Prince and John H. Cottam. Journal material Mayor John T. Woodbury and George Miles. Program Vernon Worthen, Jos. W. Judd and Mrs. Vivien Woodbury. Agricultural prospects of southern sou-thern Utah Walter F. Smith. Scenic wonders of southern Utah E. J. Pickett. Education Vernon Worthen. Reason for convention Mabel Jarvis. Cattle W. B. Mathis. Music J. Wm. McAllister. Officials have been invited to bring their families with them to the convention, and make it a vacation as well as a business trip.
