Show SPRING DALE gPRIXGDAiE, Feb. 9. Eph-raim Eph-raim Webb and Linden Hea-ton Hea-ton are visiting here as home missionaries. A number of cottage cot-tage meetings have been held and were enjoyed by all who attended. Moses Gifford is . suffering from heart trouble, and for a time it was thought he would have a paralytic stroke. He is slightly improved at this writing. writ-ing. An apron and overall dance was held here Friday night. One of the features of the evening was a search for chocolate kisses kiss-es hidden around the hall, a prize being awarded to Miss Maida Russell who found the most. O. D. Gifford has been ill for the past week, but is slightly improved. Word has been received by Edith Hepworth of the marriage of her daughter, Miss Francell. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fawcett have returned from St. George where they spent a few days visiting relatives. Word has been received that Mrs. Stephen S. Johnson of New York is ill. Mrs. Etta Gifford is on the sick list. Lola and Herbert Christensen and June Gifford made a business busi-ness trip to Cedar City Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hirschi and infant daughter are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Othcll Gifford. Mr. and Mrs. George Short made a business trip to Salt Lake last week. Mack Beam is recovering from an illness. A junior dance was given Saturday Sat-urday under the direction of the Primary. Work is in progress installing install-ing a larger pipe line from the spring to town, to supplement the culinary water supply here. The men have been working 011 the project for about two weeks. |
