Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, June 1. The weather still continues dry and hot and as a result the range conditions are getting get-ting in bad shape. Crops that have had water are doing fine and hay is ready to cut. This is considerably earlier than other years. At the stockholders meeting of the Enterprise Reservoir and Canal Co. held on Saturday last, it was voted to increase the capital stock, and work will be pushed to complete the lower reservoir this year. A big time is being prepared for tonight to-night to raise funds to help send the quartette from the St. George stake to the M. I. A. Golden Jubilee in Salt Lake City this week. John Day, Jr., and family and Henry Day and family have gone for the summer. The men folks driving tourist cars for Perry Brothers of Cedar City. William Lund is in St. George on county commissioner business, as equalization board. Another car of cement is being ordered or-dered for the new reservoir. |
