Show MESQUITE Mesquite, Nevada, April 5. April 1, the Virgin high school went to- the mountains for a trip. There were ten n-agon loads of students and the faculty went on horseback. All were dressed for a hike. They went to Cabin canyon, and a jolly good time was had. Sam Fullerton, the foreman at the dam at the "narrows" was a business busi-ness visitor here last week. Myron Abbott left last evening for Las Vegas, on business. The measles have about cleared up the sick are almost all well again. Silvin Hughes returned home Thursday from Los Angeles, Cal., where he had been going to school for several months. Word was received that a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. David Canfield, who are at Good Springs; also a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Rex Leav-itt Leav-itt at Las Vegas. t Bp. and Mrs. Wm. E. Abbott went J to Salt Lake City, on business and to attend conference. Mrs. Edgar Mineer accompanied them. Mrs. Walter Hughes is teaching school this week during Mrs. Mincer's Min-cer's absence. Mrs. 'Agnes Burgess and Mrs. Delila Kinner and son Elmo returned last week from Goodsprings, where they have been visiting since the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hughes made a business trip to St. George and Hurricane last week. |
