Show WOODWARD SCHOOL Due to the weakness of many of the students after having the measles, all basketball, kickball and football activities were dispensed dis-pensed with for at least two weeks. In place of these activities activ-ities we started a competitive washer pitching contest. Hundreds Hund-reds of students took part, many became very expert. Joe Beatty and Herschel Hafen were first of the boys with Shirl Alger and Blaine Fawcett of the fifth as runners up. In the girls contest Beth Wade and Viola Blake were the winners with Oma Parkinson and Bonita Burgess as runners up.
