Show LA VERKIN La Verkin, May IS. La Verkin had two men in the basket ball teams of southern Utah this spring. Ash-worth Ash-worth Thompson of Dixie college and Ervil Sanders of the B. A. C. at Cedar Ced-ar City. Each received a sweater. Scout Executive and Mrs. A. Golden Gold-en Kilburn visited at La Verkin last Thursday. Mr. Kilburn reported he was pleased with progress of the La Verkin troop of scouts. Scoutmaster Loron D. Squire attended at-tended scoutmasters meeting held with A. Golden Kilburn present at Hurricane last Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. H. Earl Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dalton of Hurricane Hur-ricane visited at the home of Joseph E. Gubler last Sunday. Mrs. Isaac Hunt of St. George is here visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph E. Gubler. George F. Hardy returned home last Saturday from Las Vegas, Nevada, Nev-ada, where he has been working. Mrs. Arthur Woodbury and children child-ren have returned from St. George where they spent last winter. Mrs. Julia Graff and daughter Rachel of St. George were visitors here last week end. Miss Mishie Hardy left last week for St. George where she has employment. employ-ment. Mrs. George Judd spent the week end here from St. George. N Mrs. Delia Hardy of Hurricane is visiting here this week. Irene Haslam of Cedar City is a visitor here this week. John A.
