Show REPUBLICANPRIM.RY At the Republican primary held here last Saturday night, of which A. B. Andrus was chairman and Leroy Cox secretary, friends of W. W. Seog-miller Seog-miller showed up in force. A "slate" had been prepared, slips containing con-taining 13 typewritten names of citizens favorable to Seegmiller boing passed around. Three other nominations nomina-tions other than those on the "slate" were made for delegates to the county coun-ty convention, but the slate was carried. car-ried. 'Albert E. Miller explained why the "slate" had been prepared, saying it was felt that we should stand behind a southern Utah man, one who was born in St. George Hon. W. W. Seegmiller. This explanation was received with applause M. L. McAllister received the nom- , ination for precinct J. P., and Wil-ford Wil-ford Goff was nominated for precinct constable. |
