Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, August, 12. For the benefit of those who were with us during our Carnival we wish to inform in-form our perticipants that financially our committee found themselves short of funds but their spirits were for the occasion and they made up the delinquency and all bills has been paid off. The success of the time on July 21-22-23 was of the highest order and we are sorry of the financial financ-ial failure, but then after all it was not much and we will still try and give every one who comes to our times their money's worth. Mrs. Jos. Piatt has rented the Root hotel at Lund and left yesterday yester-day to take charge of it, taking Phoebe Canfield with her. We hope she will have success in her undertaking under-taking S. C. Jones is in St. George on business connected with the school board. We understand a determined determin-ed effort will be made to hold our tenth grade this year. Mrs. A. D. Crawford, was rushed to Cedar City on Thursday for medical medi-cal attention, and returned home again Saturday. . She is improving. Born, at Cedar City, Aug. 2., a son to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Day; all concerned con-cerned doing nicely. Emil Barlocher and B. C. Farns-worth Farns-worth are in St. George, on business. |
