Show Engineering firm withdraws as Ballard Town engineers A letter from Horrocks Engineering Co was read to the board members In Inthe inthe the Ballard Water Improvement District Tuesday Nov 23 The letter stated that the work had been completed on the sewer study and that they wished to withdraw as engineers from the Town of Ballard because of the conflict bet bet- between Roosevelt and Ballard They stated that when a conflict occurred that it was their policy polley to stay with their oldest customer and in this case Roosevelt was their oldest client Keith Haslem suggested that the district not pay the balance due the engineering company which Is un- un until until til they meet with the Community Im- Im Impact Impact pact Board to apply for grant monies as scheduled Ballard was given for forthe forthe the Impact study and has paid Horrocks Engineering approximately Roosevelt City requested that Ilor Hor- Horrocks rocks Engineering withdraw from Ballard or they would get another engineering company remarked Shar SharLynn SharLynn Lynn Benson Ballard Water Improve Improve- Improvement Improvement ment District secretary Karl president of the Ballard Water Improvement District reported that Roger Lee of the Community Impact Board has put the district on the agenda for Dec 2 Shane Reary and Reed Samuels met with the board to discuss when water might be available in section seven and andon andon on the Montez Creek Road They were tol told that the district had paid 1400 for preliminary studies for a waterline and anda a gallon storage tank and this was the second priority for the district The board could not say when the water would be available to them but did assure them that the water project was being worked on Charles Miller traded 27 Crane water meters for a water hookup It was to be noted in the records that Miller would guarantee the meters and that there would not be a monthly charge on the water hookup that he would receive reported that he had talked to Buzz Larsen and he would accept the position of Water Master and Building Inspector Inspector as soon as Zane Asay retires from the job Asay said he would take Larson around and make him familiar with the job before he retires from It Randy Labrum reported that he would like to have the black top checked around his meter said he would look at It |
