Show t. t r t h I 1 Al J t J a T Vw Pam Pom Baker Janet Ufford Tamara Tamora Goodrich RoJean Sullivan Barbara Huff Ruth Hatch Pat Harding Hording Nanette American Legion Auxiliaries selects delegates Joint announcement was made this week by the American Legion Auxiliary posts Witbeck Wilbeck Unit 11 and Leland Von Gardner Unit of the selection for the Girl State delegates SEVEN girls have been selected with two alternates from the junior class of oC Uintah High School The girls were interviewed at the respective posts and selected on leadership scholarship and community participation and service The girls must maintain a B or above scolastic average not be married or planning to be married before graduation The girls must be interested willing and available for full participation in the Girls State Program The objective of the program emphasizes the fact that the delegates gates to Girls State are sent to learn how and what democracy is and how it fun fun- Girls State is a practical application of Americanism and will be held for one week June 8 14 at Southern Utah Sta State e College in Cedar City Girls attending from the Witbeck Wilbeck Unit will be Tamara lamara Goodrich daughter of Mr and Mrs Lynn C C.
