Bowles both of Vernal The reception was held the same night at the Kingsbury Community House TilE THE BRIDE BRIDE was dressed in taffeta with a lace overlay It had a fitted bodice long sheer lace sleeves fitted with a small cuff full skirt with ruffles of lace on each side to the floor the skirt featured a long train The square neckline ended in a V in the back with a abow abow abow bow at the waistline Her veil was bridal sheer edged with lace that trailed over the train She carried a nosegay of blue carnations and white rosebuds trimmed with blue ribbon streamers The brides bride's attendants were Darla DarIa Busch as matron of honor LaDell Bowles and Sharon Burns as bridesmaids They wore dresses of medium blue double knit featuring empire waistlines long sleeves and ruffles on the sleeve and neckline with a tie belt TilE THE BRIDES BRIDE'S mother wore a blue double knit dress with butterfly sleeves The gown was floor The grooms groom's mother wore light blue Both had corsages of blue and white carnations Don Schurz performed the duties of the best man while Brad Wallis and Mike Hayes were ushers A HAWAIIAN theme was followed in the decorations using the blues chosen for the brides bride's colors A blue sheer backdrop was used for the wedding line Fishnet and shells decorated the walls along with wedding bells leis and tissue flowers Hurricane lamps decorated the tables and refreshments were done by Laura Morrison The brides bride's table featured a fashion doll dressed in an exact replica of the brides bride's dress showing her china crystal and silver The serving table was covered with a lace cloth over blue and featured a silver punch set and silver coffee service Fresh fruit and cake were served in tune with the Hawaiian theme NANCY sat at the guest book Mabel Johnson Barbara Zeller and Kathleen Merkley were helping with the gift table The c cake ke was three tiers in white with blue flowers and lacework lacework lace lacework work wedding bells set between the bottom layers An arch decorated with blue flowers served on the top of the cake It was made by Donna Mer Merrill SPECIAL town out-of-town guests included Mr and Mrs Frank sister and in brother-in- law of the groom During the prenuptial parties the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Seven- Seven Eleven Cafe for the wedding party The bride was honored at ata a miscellaneous shower hosted by Darla DarIa Busch and her mother Mabel Johnson Gifts were presented the bride at the shower and refreshments served A scrapbook was made for her also The wedding trip took the couple to Salt Lake City and St. St George They plan to make their home in Vernal |
