Show Service honors Elizabeth Collier Funeral services for Elizabeth Southam Collier, Aug. 14, 1894 to June 26, 1983, were conducted by Bishop Wallace' Goddard Wednesday, June 29 in the Vernal 2nd Ward Chapel. The family prayer was by Keith B. Caldwell, Jr. At the service Linda G. Swain sang "I Need Thee Every Hour." Bishop Phil Watkins gave the invocation. Bishop Goddard gave some remarks, and H. Karl Swain spoke. Kay Lynn Holmes, Darcy Swain, Lisa Swain and Tammy Swain sang "I Am a Daughter of God." Bishop Lloyd W. Swain spoke, and great grandchildren sang "Families Are Forever." John Slaugh gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Kay Lynn Caldwell Holmes. Burial was in the Memorial Park cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Richards, Mark Caldwell, Wayne Slaugh, Tyrell Richards, Harold Jones, and Winston Slaugh. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Richards, Calvin Jones, Charles McConkie and Alma Jones. Keith B. Caldwell dedicated the grave. |
