Uies drop game t(' Orem Tiger cagerjfe Ii r The Uintah Utes suffered their second region loss in a row when they were op8pled by the Tigers in Orem, Friday 78 to 65. The Utes have an 0-2 record and will try to gain their first region win Wednesday when they host American Fork at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Orem grabbed a 20 to 13 lead in the first quarter and owned an advantage of 36 to 29 after two quarters. The Tigers were ahead 55-47 at the end of the third quarter. Uintah cut the Orem lead to one point late in the fourth quarter, but Orem went on to win the game by the score of 78-65. Brian McNamara was the leading scorer for the Utes at 25 points. He put in ten field goals and hit five out of nine free throws. Also scoring for Uintah were: Jeff Drollinger, 17; Cary Hamilton, 12; Kevin Montague, 6; Mike Weldon, 3 and Doug Bowen, 2. Uintah put in 26 field goals and hit 13 out of 19 free throws. Orem's toD scorer was MacKay at 19 points. Also scoring for Orem were Palmer, 18; Lamoreaux, 17; Bute. If Faldmo, 8 and Hyde, 4.
