Thomson announce the engagement of their daughter Michelle to Lance Morton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Morton, all of Vernal. The couple are planning to be married mar-ried July 9, 1982 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple and will have a garden reception at the home of the bride's parents on July 10. Michelle is a 1980 graduate of Uintah High School and will graduate from Dixie College in St. George this May with an Associate in Science degree. She was a member of the Uintah High Schol Drill Team and has performed with the Dixie Rebelettes in St. George for the past two years. Last summer she traveled with the Rebelettes performing perfor-ming in seven European countries. Michelle received the 1980 Rotary Award for outstanding work in interior design. Lance is a 1979 graduate of Uintah High School, where he received the 1979 Outstanding Football Player award and also the Rotary Athletic Award. He is a 1981 graduate of Dixie College with a degree in Architecture. He is presently employed by Utah-Colo. Gas and plans; - to attend Provo Technical College and" BYU this fall. |
