Show Tridcll I I Lorna ITIcKee I I Phone 247-3177 J Tractor clinic held in Tridell Too late for last week The USU Extension Service sponsored spon-sored a tractor clinic Wednesday at the DeVon McKee home with Von Jarrett, Extension Agricultural Engineering and Machinery, and Steve Cox, County Agent. Mr. Jarrett brought a dynometer to test tractors for performance. per-formance. Through this program, Dr. Jarrett has been able to increase the horsepower of farmer's equipment and also make them more economical. Fourteen tractors for the farmers in the Tridell area were tested. Spending the weekend in Tridell with their campers were Mr. and Mrs. Winford Gray, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Thompson and family, Lehi, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jensen, Highland and Mel and Doral Adams, Salt Lake City. Laura and Diane Gray, Springville, Karen Perry, Orem and Gertrude Turner were visitors in Tridell Sunday. Elder Neil Bartlett arrived home Wednesday from the Georgia, Atlanta mission. He was met at the Salt Lake airport by his family. Elder Bartlett will report his mission Easter Sunday in the Tridell Sacrement meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Milo Webb are the happy parents of a new son born Tuesday, April 14 at the Duchesne County Hospital. The Webbs now have four children, 3 boys and a girl. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Goodrich were visitors in Salt Lake City this week. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Williams and family, Ferron, Utah are spending the Easter weekend at the Gene Wallace home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartlett, Chula Vista, Calif., and baby are visiting at the Lester Bartlett's. They came to attend the missionary report of Elder Neil Bartlett. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goodrich and family, Bountiful, are visiting at the Ray Haslcm and Rae Goodrich homes over the Easter weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bowen, West Jordan, visited Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Clark McKee. The Reid Goodrich family, Blackfoot, Idaho, enjoyed the Easter holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Michael McKee are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl born Wednesday at the Uintah County Hospital. The baby weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and will be named Lisa Marie. The McKoe's have three boys and this is their first daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Wales Kibby left Thursday for their home in Fresno, Calif., after visiting for some time at the Ernest Ahlborn home. |
