Golden wedding honors couple The family of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Behrman of Maybell, Colo., are honoring their parents for their golden wedding anniversary at an open house on May 2 at the Golden Age Center in Vernal from 3 to 5 p.m. The family wishes to invite all friends and relatives of the couple to attend and requests no gifts. They were married April 8, 1931 in Vernal. They lived in Tridell for many years prior to moving to Maybell. They have nine children: five sons, H.D., Vernal; Arthur V., Rio Blanco, Colo.; Veldon, Maybell; Floyd, San Jancanito, Calif.; and Dean, Craig, Colo.; four daughters, Donna Rae (Mrs. Ted) McKowen, Salt Lake City; Lula (Mrs. Gerald) Clark, Vernal; Sharon (Mrs. Darryl) Steele, Maybell; and Joyleen (Mrs. Brent) Haslem, Vernal, They have 42 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
