Show J Local chapter of DAR DARto to e organized by fall The Vernal Chapter of ot the National Society of oC the Daughters of ot the American Revolution is being organized and will be officially recognized this fall The DAR founded in 1890 is the largest hereditary women's organization in the US U.S. Its objectives are historic preservation promotion of oC education and patriotic en en- deavor To qualify for tor membership membership membership mem mem- a woman must have an ancestor her own not her husbands husband's who fought in the Revolutionary War or otherwise otherwise other other- wise aided and abetted the cause of oC the American Revolution IT IS necessary to have twelve members before a chapter can be formed Vernal has four approved members Mrs Marty Kay Mrs Pat Labrum Mrs Alta Winward and Miss Lydia Winward Awaiting approval by the Registrar General In Washington are Mrs Jan Hatch latch Mrs Elizabeth Mrs Linda Toone Mrs Mary Alice Mice Watkins Walking and Miss Lisa Winward The applications of Mrs Polly Adams Mrs Enid Hatch Mrs Carol Carot 11 IL 11 Girsberger Gir- Gir Mrs Kathleen tl II I.
