Show Thieves grab 1700 in Ill tools A break in at the Uintah High School wood shop netted burglars 1700 in tools over the past weekend The theft was not noticed until Monday morning when it was reported to Vernal City Policy by custodian Clive Caldwell Hadlock reported to the Express that thieves gained entry into the wood shop classroom by kicking in a wood panel being used to replace a broken window in the rear door of the building THE lliE then gained gaint access to the room where here the tools were being stored by cutting a wire mesh wall enabling them to reach inand in inand and unlatch the tool room door Following an inventory of the room it was disclosed that hammers planes saws drills and an air compressor was among the missing The police are following various leads they have uncovered thus far Officer Of Officer Hadlock reported that they were able to lift several sets of fingerprints from the site in addition to the acquiring of other clues that may not by disclosed at this time Vernal Police is continuing the investigation |
