| Show BLAA 1 land use planning for three corners area update The Bureau of ot Land Management is starting to update their land use plans for tor public lands from Diamond Mountain north to the Wyoming state line The area also includes in eludes the portion of of Colorado west of the Green River The land use planning update will be prepared prior to an environmental impact statement on livestock grazing in the Three Corners Comers area according to Ralph Heft Planning Coordinator Every use is not suited to every acre and some uses conflict with others The Vernal District is charged with managing the land for the optimum mix of potential uses The optimum mix of uses is determined by inventorying the resources of the district determining the the management which would be best for each resource and then resolving the conflicts that are found between resource development possibilities Help is needed from people interested in the public land to develop a land use plan that meets their needs Anyone interested in land use planning for public lands in the Three Corners area area is encouraged to stop in at the office in inVernal inVernal inVernal Vernal or write District Manager Bureau of Land Management PO P.O.
