Meadows Meadows- why wheat is Staff of Life The conclusion of the unit on wheat will take up most of the week at Country Meadows Early Education Center this week The children will each take home a small loaf of bread that they have made and which will mean a lot to each child in terms of learning and ac ac- ac- ac The children will also learn how wheat can be made to t taste ste like candy and meat Crackers and donuts will willbe willbe willbe be made in conclusion of the unit THROUGHOUT the week an introduction will be made of the songs to be sung for Halloween A reminder is also given that the photographer will be at the center on Monday October 17 for school pictures Ora Fay Oviatt Director of the center was this past weekend appointed as area chairman for organization of events to be held during the National Week of the Young Child proclaimed nationally to be held the week of April 3 1978 The appointment was made through the Utah Association for the Education of Young Children held in connection connection connection con con- with the UE meetings in Salt Lake City The week is meant to deal with wilh serving the needs of all children from birth to age eight years Mr and Mrs Walt Bowden went to Casper Wyo over the weekend to visit their daughter Mr and Mrs Ben Den Reese and family They left Friday and came back Sunday
