Show Girls Girl's athletics off to a flying start The Uintah School District has lias become well-known well not only for sports for young men but also for young ladies as well Uintah is the reigning state A 3 Volleyball Champions and hasan hasan has hasan an excellent group of young ladies returning in all sports to continue the efforts This year the volleyball program will be headed by head coach LaDawn Allen and and assisted by JoAnn Cowan Rosemary Bigelow will also assist in this athletic class GIRLS GIRLS' BASKETBALL will feature Miss Allen as head coach with Mr Kerry Rupp as the assistant Track features Allen with Mrs 1 Bigelow assisting in the athletics as well as Gymnastics Tennis for both boys and girls will be headed by Mark Cheerleading will be directed by Mrs Pam Konopinski Another highlight of past years has been the remarkable accomplishment and spirit of the drill team These young beauties grace most of our games and add color and excitement excitement excitement ex ex- ex- ex to the time half-time presentations Mrs Teresa Murphy will be responsible for keeping this endeavor at an all- all time lime high The district encourages any interested parent who wishes to render assistance and encouragement encouragement encouragement en- en to any of these groups to please contact the head coach of the respective activity Uintah School District wishes to remain number one in all activities and to build up to become number one in those activities in which Uintah may be temporarily lodged in number two position At the junior high school level the district is equally blessed with competence and expertise with Louise Murch heading the girls program at Vernal Jr High and Nancy Brooks at West Jr High |
