Show ADDING AN ELEVATOR. The Mendon tithing granary is constructed on an improved plan, but has lacked one great convenience-an elevator. This season the lower bins are all full, as last year's grain has not yet been removed, and it therefore becomes accessary to store this season's grain in the upper or third story. As the carrying of sacks of grain up two or three flights of steps is an amusement that very few men appreciate, it has been decided to put in an elevator. An order for one has been sent to Chicago, and it is expected that it will be put in place before the tithing grain begins to come in. |
