For the next thirty days, Aaron Farr will pay you a good price for your wheat, oats and barley at Thatcher's rock barn, immediately west of Union Mills. Have you had an invitation to the Bureau ball in Providence tonight? If so, consider yourself complimented, as it is the design to have a strictly select company and a most enjoyable time. Last Monday, we had a pleasant call from Mr. Joseph Farr, one of the firm of Farr Bros. (Brothers) of Ogden. He is in town on business and may go north before returning home. He reports all well and prosperous in the junction city. Prof. (Professor) Hamill has commenced teaching elocution at Provo and has a class of fifty pupils. He also has classes in Springville and Spanish Fork, but expects to close there about the 28th inst. (instant), when he will give Logan a call. T. B. Cardon, Esq. (Esquire), Logan's enterprising jeweler and photographer, has secured the services of Mr. G. W. Potter, a photographer from San Francisco, who was recently connected with Savage's establishment in Salt Lake. Mr. Potter is a most excellent photographer and Mr. Cardon has secured his services with the view of giving his patrons some first-class portraits. Now is your time to get a good picture. |
