OCR Text	Show TERRITORIAL CONVENTION. On Thursday evening, Oct. (October) 7th, as we learn from the News, the People's Territorial Convention met in the City Hall, Salt Lake City. The delegation from Cache County, consisting of Moses Thatcher, W. B. Preston, W. H. Maughan, C. O. Card, O. C. Ormsby and Fred (Fredrick) Turner were all present. The deliberations of the convention resulted in the nomination of Hon. (Honorable) Geo. (George) Q. Cannon as Delegate to Congress and the election of a Territorial Central Committee, consisting of the old members. Great unanimity and cordiality seem to have characterized the proceedings of the convention.
