The regular testimony and fast meeting of the month was held last Sunday. A warm lunch will be furnished the school children by the teachers here beginning Monday, which no doubt will be a good thing for the children. The regular work and business meeting of the Relief society was held on Tuesday last. o Blue Bench The third session of our Sunday school was held last Sunday with a splendid attendance and an excellent excel-lent spirit. Claude Birch was called home from Provo on account of the death of his sister. J. W. Moulton moved his family from Branch 3 to Branch 1 in order that the children may reach school easier. Helen Booth came in from Provo to plaster the new cottages, and Mrs. James Gray is smiling happily as she will be one of the first to move in one of the new homes. Mrs. John R. Winder of Salt Lake City is visiting with Mr. and Mrs Mortensen. Mrs. Winder, a siste? of Mrs. Mortensen, is the widow o1 J. R. Winder, the first counselor tc the late president Joseph Smith. Mrs. Mortensen is the busiest lady on the Blue Bench for the time being. Besides attending with cus tomary devotion to her duties ar wife and mother and to school an? other educational work, she is also helping her husband in the office ir the capacity of a temporary bookkeeper. book-keeper. o rtVVVVVTTTVVVT t t T t-t .... Russel I. Rowley and wife returned retur-ned Thursday from Hayden where they have been visiting for the past two weeks. The Leap Year Ball Friday night was the event of the season. Everybody Every-body reports a good time. So next Friday, there will be another dance, music to be furnished by the Hanna orchestra. Everybody is invited to come and see what it is like. Joe -Rhoades, in company with Claude Wagstaff of Tabiona, has gone to Park City to bring in a boiler for the . Wagstaff saw-mill at Tabiona. Friday V. R. Savage made a bus iness trip to Duchesne. We have about two inches of mow. The health ; of the: people here is very good, speaking in general, gener-al, Carl Rhoades made a business rip to Duchesne Friday, returning Saturday. Word comes from Foster Rhoader ind wife that they arrived at Provo Pro-vo Nov. 30th. They are now at Salt Lake City and expect to be horde by Christmas or New Year.
