Show TRUCK VICTIM BURIED LAST SATURDAY, SAT-URDAY, NOV. 20th Funeral services for Delmon Conklin 23 were held Saturday, November 20th, at 2 P. M. in Altonah, Al-tonah, under the direction of the L. D. S. Church. Speakers were: Grant L. Foote, C. N. Shiner and Jerimiah Clark, Mr. Conklin was instantly killed kill-ed Wednesday, while walking with a companion, Harold Ralphs of Altonah, on highway 40 between Heber and Keetley. Mr. Ralph received re-ceived a severe wound on the head, but aftr a few days In the Heber City hospital was released, and Is convalescing at the home of his brother-in-law- in Park City. The two young men were apparently appar-ently struck with a truck while walking towards Park City, in search of work. As yet no definite def-inite information has been obtained obtain-ed on the truck, though several of the authorities are on the lookout look-out for it, and are tracing down various clues. Mr. Conklin is survived by his father, Delmon Conklin Sr. and two brothers, Edward and Charles, Char-les, all of Altonah. Charles however how-ever is now with a CCC camp in California and was unable to attend at-tend the funeral. J |
