Show CORRECTION In our last issue we stated that Mr. William H. Morrison, of Myton, My-ton, had been convicted of a criminal crim-inal charge in Justice's Court at Duchesne. While Mr. t Morrison was found' guilty by the Jury, he was found guilty of a lesser offense off-ense than that with which he was charged. He was charged with an offense carrying a minimum penalty of $100 fine, while the jury found him guilty of an offense offen-se carrying a minimum of only $25.00. An appeal was taken to District Court, but while theappeal was pending Mr. Morrison paid the fine, which ended the .matter. This case was tried before Geo. M. Averett, Justice of the Peace, with . Merril H. Larscn . representing represent-ing the state and Robt G. Porter the defense. , |
