Show JIM Mrs. Berthena Helfeltz was pleasantly surprised Monday when her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Christensen arrived from Provo Bench. They remained remain-ed at the Holfeltz ranch for several days. Nelda Holfeltz had her tonsils and adenoids removed by Dr. L. H. Cline Monday. Mrs. Ethel Curran and family and Mrs. William Seaton entertained-at the Curran home Wedncs day evening. The ocasion was a farewell party in honor of Miss J Ida Curran who expects to leave for Rifle, Coloado, about the fifth of September. Dancing and games, were the main entertainments of; the evening. The guests were the' Misses Bessie Farbush, Phyllis, Wimmer, Delia Remund and Free-da Free-da WardleRay Thomas, Neville J Wimer, Harold Powell, Max andj Harold Gee, Gus Gordan, Leon Burdick, and Vera Holfeltz. Old friends of Juanita will remember re-member thel Rust, one of our best school teachers in the days ofj the little red school house. Miss Rust now has a husband and: family and resides at Provo. She was in Juanita visiting relatives and old friends the forepart of the week. Harold Wimmr and Harvey Gee accompanied Claire Wilson of Roosevelt on an expedition to the Granddaddy Lakes last week-end. Miss Bessie Farbush is a guest .at the Wimmer home at the present pres-ent time. John Christensen, George Hol-felta, Hol-felta, Vern Holfeltz and Parry Grant, went to Lake Canyon on a fishing trip. Miss Freeda Wardle spent Wednesday Wed-nesday night at the Curran home. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Marslng and family and Miss Ida Curran were guests at the Remund home Sunday. Mrs. Bell Wardle of Salt Lake City was a guest at the Holfeltz ranch last week-end. |
