Show LOCALS o Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Jones, and their son, formerly of Cedar City have moved into one of Bishop Larsen's apartments this week. Mr. Jones wil lhave charge of the Music department in the Duchesne school this year. We understand he is quite an acompllshed violinist. violin-ist. . Celebrate Labor Day at Duchesne Wendell H. Bradford, 34, of Spanish Fork, and Miss Leona White, 23 of Duchesne, obtained a 'license to marry in Ogden, this week. o I Mrs. Guy Hollenbeck was host- ; ess at a bridge party Saturday afternoon. The guests were: Mes-dames Mes-dames A. M. Murdock, Nellie Muir, H. S. Liddell, Geo. Kohl, Arvin Sabey, Roy Schonian and Misses Francis Rowlett and Lillian Johnstun. John-stun. Miss Alyce Stevenson has had as her guest Miss Helen Harriett. Miss Harritt, after a two weeks visit returned to her home in Provo Saturday. o Celebrate Labor Day at Duchesne Mr. and Mrs. Iverson went to Provo and Salt Lake City Saturday Satur-day on business. A crowd of the young people from Duchesne and their house guests enjoyed a weenie Roast up the canyon last Saturday night. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Schonian, H. S. Liddell, Miss Francis Rowlett Mrs. Ollle Schonian, Miss Lillian Johnstun, Orron Smith, Daryl Smith, Dwite Wadley, and Hyrum Nielson. Mrs. . M. Pope returned home Sunday night after spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Pope in Provo and a week with Mr. and Mrs. Andy Murdock in Heber. |
