Show BRIDGELAND By C. W. Smith Van Keele of Bridgeland and Miss Dolma Hansen of Price were united in marriage at Duchesne Thursday, Sept. 7th, Bishop Rulon J. Larsen officiating. The newly weds are giving a Wedding dance at Bridgeland, September 22. The community joins in wishing this popular young couple a pleasant journey through life. Mr. and Mrs. George Brundage were -in Duchesne Thursday, transacting important business. A delightful entertainment was given in the ward hall Friday evening eve-ning for Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Smith, who are leaving the ward. A full house listened to a well prepared program, followed by reminisences of the life of Mr. Smith, given by Bishop J-. Reese Clayburn, who also presented the guests of honor with a beautiful chair, and book and magazine rack. A very clever one act play was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Goodrich, Mrs. Shelton, Alma and Lynn Smith, which was well received by all present. Refreshments, Re-freshments, games and dancing concluded a pleasant evening, long to be remembered. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell attended at-tended the party at Bridgeland Friday evening. On account ot the Storm, oiling between Myton and Duchesne has been slowed up. Mrs. Florence Carter who has been visiting in Salt Lake City returned re-turned home Wednesday. |
