Show FUNERALS HELD FOR SWEASEY GIRLS By Mrs. Ward Evans Funeral services for Barbara Swasey, three year old daughter of Napier and Alice Snow Swasey were held in the Boneta ward j chapel, Monday, September 4th. Bishop E. E. Cox officiated, j Prayer was offered by Elder Ray-j Ray-j mond Oman. The speakers were j C. A. Erickson, Birch Bennion' of Mt. Emmons ward, Bishop Austin ! G. Burton of Talmage and Bishop Cox. A trio consisting of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fortie and Corinne Moffitt sang "Whispering Hope," "Prayer Perfect" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere Bishop A. T. Burton dedicated the grave. Funeral services for Lula Swasey, 15 month old daughter of Napier and Alice Snow Swasey, were held Sunday, Sept. 10th. Bishop E. E. Cox officiated. Prayer was offered by Carlos M. Reynolds. The speakers were C. A. Erickson, Erick-son, Raymond Oman, Bishop A. G. Burton of Talmage and Bishop E. E. Cox. Margaret Lucas sang a solo. "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You," accompanied by Mrs. Evan Hansen and a quartet com-sisting com-sisting of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fortie, Melba Moffitt, and Madora Brandon. Other numbers were: "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "We Lay Thee Gently Down To Rest." The profusion of lovely floral offerings gave mute evidence of the sympathy of all for the young couple in their double bereavement. bereave-ment. The grave was dedicated by, Darwin Brotherson. |
