Show KNIFE WIELDER BOUND OVER 10 OISTRIGT COURT The preliminary hearing for Rollie Ivie was held before Justice of the Peace, Geo. Averett, Monday Mon-day at Duchesne. He was held to the District Court on a charge of felony. The charge which is "'assault with a deadly weapon" resulted from an affray at the Ivie Dance Hall in Strawberry on the night of Oct. 27th when it is alleged that Mr. Ivie used a knife on Millard Mulr, inflicting wounds in head and shoulder. Witnesses for the State, which was represented by County Attorney. Attor-ney. Merrill H. Larsen, were: Wilson, Wil-son, Carol, Lavon and Margaret Mulr and Dr. Leon H. Cline, who treated Mr. Muir's wounds. Only enough evidence was brought out at the hearing to show cause to have Mr. Mulr bound over to the District Court. According to evidence given, there seems to be some contention over whether or not the knifing was I t the result of a quarrel at the dance - or was induced by t -some previous misunderstanding and was premeditated. |
