Show LOCALS - Mrs. Zelda Reynolds of Vernal is staying with Mrs. W. E. Foy, whose husband was injured Saturday Sat-urday in a runaway accident and is in a Bingham canyon hospital. Mr. and Mrs. E. VV. Crocker and son Larry of Salt Lake City were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bates. Mr. and Mrs. a. J. Mrs. Okey Davis returned to her home in Salt Lake City last week after a few days here visiting visit-ing relatives. George Potts and his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts, were in town Monday Mon-day on business. Geddes Lindsay of Mt. Home was doing business in Duchesne Monday. He has received word from Douglas Lindsay that he left Ft. Douglas, headed for an army camp in the East. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Belt and Mrs. Lloyd Belt of Wellington spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wilson. Miss Mary Wilson spent the week end in Price. District Grazer L. Waine Larsen Lar-sen of Vernal was in Duchesne on business Thursday. Miss Laura Mae Lyman spent a few days last week visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Lyman. Ly-man. She is employed part-time in Salt Lake City while attending business college. Julian R. Thomas, the new forest for-est ranger arrived in Duchesne last night with his family and has moved into the home formerly oc-uipicd oc-uipicd by Reed Cowan. Frank Richards, whose place Mr. Thomas is taking, was in from Heber City to help the family get settled in iheir new home. |
