Show Westwater Travel Remains High Kc ports from I.oe Wangsgard of the Bureau of Land Management indicate in-dicate that travel through Westwater Canyon remains re-mains high. Last Saturday, Satur-day, 130 people embarked on river tours through that popular canyon. Mr. Wangsgard stated that this is an average number num-ber of people for weekend use of the canyon. Between Be-tween 10 and 12 outfitters are now making trips tli rough the canyon. Mr. Wangsgard returned return-ed late last week after spending fi e days on the Flathead Indian Reservation Reserva-tion near Divon, Montana on a fire which burned nearly 1,001) acres of timberland. He reported that this is the worst fire season in recent years for the western area and over 100,000 acres were burned in blaes earlier this month. The Hl.M advisory-board advisory-board will meet Thursday Thurs-day morning in the Federal Fed-eral building, and at that time annual grazing licenses li-censes will be presented.
