Show Girls Report Fun at Scout Camps Now thai it's back to school time there is a group of girls who have something new to relate about their summer happenings. hap-penings. 14 girls from Moab spent 12 clays at established Girl Scout camps in I'tah. Going from Junior troop 2H5 were .lotly Carter, Kris-line Kris-line Chrislensen, Carol Crossland, Calleint Paula Pau-la Hammer and Judy Law (on. Junior Troop ()(( sent Trisha Adkison, Kathleen Daniels, Cindy Marshall and Hetty Win-field. Win-field. Cadettes going from Troop 110 were Karen Kerr and Marilyn Shellon. These girls all spent their camping time at Trefoil Ranch located on 123 beautiful acres in Provo Canyon. The main interest at this camp is horses, however, nature activities, arts and crafts, sports and games, outdoor cooking, camp-craft camp-craft and hiking are also included. From Cadette troop 110 Freda Rogers and Beverly Shellon went to Camp RedCliffe which is located near Ogden in a heavily wooded area on the south fork of the Ogden Og-den River. Fmphasis at RedCliffe is on swimming bul all other camp activities activi-ties are also included. Troop fjOf) will finish up their summer activities activi-ties with a swimming parly Thursday, August 23, 7:45 to 9, meeting at the park pool A watermelon water-melon feast will be held in the park after the swimming session. Some work on the Water Fun Badge w ill be done at this time. Regular weekly meetings will begin on Thursday, August 30 at the Scout House directly after school until 5:30 for this troop. Meeting dates and places for the other troops will be announced next week. Girl Scout Leaders, old and new, are invited to a get acquainted session at the Scout House, Tuesday, Tues-day, Sept. 4, 7 p.m. Kat your supper at home with your family and bring your favorite dessert to the Scout meeting to share with others. Anyone needing an experienced ex-perienced Girl Scout uniform uni-form may contact Lorraine Lor-raine Self at 474 Nichols Lane. She is handling a central pick up for all ages and sizes of uniforms. uni-forms. Anyone w ishing to sell a uniform may take it to her, have name, address, size and price wanted attached to the uniform.
