Show Police Report i Activities City polk'o officers this week reported a busy schedule sche-dule with a vaiiety of problems pro-blems to solve and several calls to answer. On February 13, Suzanne Alice Hilton was backing her 19(19 Chev from the A '& W Drive In when she hit a parked park-ed car belonging to Colleen Christensen. The Christensea car, a 19f8 Pontine, received receiv-ed about $125 damage. No citations were issued. On February 16, Linda Zu-felt, Zu-felt, driving a 1961 Chrv, backed into a 1969 Dodge owned by Ted C. Paulson, doing do-ing about $150 damage to the Dodge. She was cited for improper lookout and causing caus-ing an accident. Only one act of vandalism was reported during the week and that occurred when several windows were broken brok-en out of a car belonging to William Stocks doing about $75 damage. Several incidents with juveniles juv-eniles kept local officers busy also. On Feb. 13, a juvenile ju-venile was picked up by city officers and charged with possession of marijuana. On Feb. 15, City police officers of-ficers working in conjunction w3.h Grand County Sheriff W. H. Bowman succeeded in apprehending another juvenile juve-nile and that resulted in a charge 0f possession of mar ijuana. Five other juvenile- were picked up over the weekend and were charged with the illegal possession of alcoholic beverages. In other action, four young people were turned over to their parents. Three more dogs were poisoned poi-soned during the week, two of them in the vicinity of 3rd South and the other in Mountain View Subdivision. |
