Show County Seeking Bids On Airport Contract Bids are being sought this week for a five-year contract for the operation of Canyonlands Can-yonlands Field. The present lease, that held by Hub-Air Flying Service, is up on March 1, according to County Coun-ty Clerk Barbara Domenick, and other interested persons now have the chance to b:d on the project. If another bid is made, however, Hub-Air Hub-Air will have the chance to meet it, Mrs. Domenick said. Specifications for the lease of Canyonlands Field include conducting flight instruction, instruc-tion, charter and sightseeing sightsee-ing flights, the sale and rental ren-tal of aircraft, aircraft parts, equipment and accessories. The concessionaire, Frontier Fron-tier Airlines excluded, must jay quarterly, a minimum rental of 3 per cent of gross business to $100,000 and 4 per cent of all business over that figure for counter spac3 and vehicle stalls. Repair and storage of aircraft must be provided, up to the limits of available space with a qualified mechanic me-chanic to be available at all times. In addition to this, the operator must provide sufficient aircraft to meet the public needs for services offered. These, and some other stipulations must be met by any person who wishes 'J operate the field.
